The tables throughout this page show Profit/XP. To calculate XP/hour, refer to the table below. XP/Hour depends on the tier of metal you are smithing, plus the number of bars required to to smith the item. This values assume 3 seconds per smithing action, and 9 second banking time, which is a conservative estimate for the time it would take to bank at [[Varrock west bank]]. For example, [[adamant platebodies]] are made with 5 adamant bars, and therefore a player continuously smithing adamant platebodies at Varrock west bank can expect to receive 234,375 XP per hour.
