Ranged magic (also known as ranged-based magic) attacks are distinguished by a unique set of characteristics.

	Using Prayer	Using Defence and armour
Attack acts like	Magic → Protect from Magic	Ranged → Defend against ranged, with e.g., Bandos, Barrows ()
