This page holds templates to prevent them appearing as unused. Typically these are templates that are linked to but not transcluded through standard wiki markup, or maintenance templates that are not always used. This is done to keep these templates off Special:UnusedTemplates, so that they do not get mistakenly deleted due to apparent lack of use.

This page may show up in Category:Pages with script errors and Category:Pages with reference errors. This is unfortunately not always avoidable.

Some templates shouldn't be listed on here:

• Templates used in dynamic calculators should be marked as used by adding {{Calc use}} to the calculator's page.

Preload templates

Substitution templates

These templates are not meant to be transcluded, but are instead used to place their contents on some page via template substitution. As they are generally not transcluded, they show up as unused.

Temporary

These templates are used when relevant, but are only relevant sometimes. These are often related to discussions, or related to the community in some other way.

Maintenance

These templates are placed on pages that have problems. This hopefully means they're unused some of the time.
