- Player: I'm fine thanks.
- Gertrude: Good good, See you again.

- Do you have any more kittens?
- Player: Do you have any more kittens?
- Gertrude: Indeed I have. They are 100 coins each, do you want one?
- If the player has at least 100 coins:

- Player: Oops, looks like I'm a bit short. I'll have to come back later.

While owning a cat with 100 rodent kills
Note: The player does not need to have their cat with them; if their cat is in the bank, this dialogue will also occur. If the player already owns a cat training medal, this dialogue does not appear.
- Player: Hello again Gertrude!
- Gertrude: Well, hello adventurer! How are you?
- Player: My cat has caught 100 rats!
- Gertrude: Well well! You are good with cats!
- Gertrude: Here, I have a little present for you...
- Gertrude shows you a small medal
- Player: Hey, thanks Gertrude.
- (Player receives cat training medal.)

- Gertrude: Oh, I do love my precious little kittens! Perhaps you could care for one, some day!

After starting the event
- Player: Did Juliet not invite you to her party?
- Gertrude: No, me and her aren't friends anymore, she tried to poison my cats.
- Player: I should go before I make things worse.

After being asked to fetch cat hair for Iffie
- Ask about the birthday party.
- Player: Hi Gertrude, do you have any cat hair I can borrow?
- Gertrude: Do I look like I collect cat hairs? It may collect onto my clothes like no tomorrow, but I don't hoard it.
- Player: Sorry for asking...maybe there's another way I can get it off her...

Taking the comb from the table
- If the player does not have her comb yet:
- You take Gertrude's comb.
- (Player receives Gertrude's comb.)

- You already have one of Gertrude's combs, it would be rude to take more.

Using the comb on Gertrude
- If the player does not have any loose cat hair yet:
- You run the comb through Gertrude's cardigan.
- You find some loose cat hairs, you take them and store them in your pocket.
- (Player receives loose cat hair.)
- Gertrude: Oi! What do you think you're doing?
- Player: Oh, uh...nothing! I'll be going now!

- If the player already has some loose cat hair:
- You already have some cat hair, best leave it there.

When talked to whilst having cat hair
- Ask about the birthday party.
- Player: I found some cat hair.
- Gertrude: Wow, that's very impressive.

- Gertrude: Hello little kitty, are you lost?

- You take the sardine from Gertrude and quickly eat it.
- Gertrude: Who's a good fluff ball.
- Player: Meooow!
