King Healthorg going into battle atop Mibbiwocket

Mibbiwocket is a giant tortoise, one of many that used by gnomes in battle. He is the oldest known tortoise[1] and is at least 300 years old.[2] He is currently cared for by the gnomish royal family.[3] Mibbiwocket was presented to King Healthorg the Great, shortly after his birth, by the famous gnome explorer Admiral Bake[4] sometime in the Fourth Age.[5] He makes an appearance in Hazelmere's tale during The Eyes of Glouphrie, as part of Healthorg and tortoise.

Mibbiwocket is the correct answer to the Natural history quiz question: "What is the name of the oldest tortoise ever recorded?"[6]
