Mibbiwocket

Mibbiwocket is a giant tortoise, one of many that used by gnomes in battle. He is the oldest known tortoise^[1] and is at least 300 years old.^[2] He is currently cared for by the gnomish royal family.^[3] Mibbiwocket was presented to King Healthorg the Great, shortly after his birth, by the famous gnome explorer Admiral Bake^[4] sometime in the Fourth Age.^[5] He makes an appearance in Hazelmere's tale during The Eyes of Glouphrie, as part of Healthorg and tortoise.

Mibbiwocket is the correct answer to the Natural history quiz question: "What is the name of the oldest tortoise ever recorded?"^[6]
