The lord is a farm-owner and father of Arastasia. One of his farm hands, Dentristus, was in love with his daughter.[1]
During a harsh winter, the Wintertodt was drawn for the north devouring animals and crops,[2] Dentristus vowed to defeat the Wintertodt, and in exchange the lord offered Arastasia's hand in marriage.[3] The lord geared Dentristus with his best equipment,[4] though this was not enough and Dentristus would eventually succumb to the Wintertodt's chill.[5]
