Cooking requires 10 Sage's Renown to unlock.

The Cooking skill is the best source of healing items in the game, particularly at a lower level where certain alternatives like Saradomin brews are not yet available.

Skill synergies

• Fishing provides a supply of raw fish to be cooked.
• Firemaking allows players to cook in more places.
• Thieving causes players to take damage on failed pickpocket attempts; a supply of food from Cooking makes training considerably safer.

	Dine & Dash	1	10% chance players will get an extra cooked food. The extras will be sent to the Bank and provide no additional XP. Does not work on untradeable items or in instances.
		2	20% chance players will get an extra cooked food. The extras will be sent to the Bank and provide no additional XP. Does not work on untradeable items or in instances.
		3	50% chance players will get an extra cooked food. The extras will be sent to the Bank and provide no additional XP. Does not work on untradeable items or in instances.
