Hallifred was an unused non-player character present in the RuneScape 2 beta. He would have appeared in the original version of The Fremennik Trials, then known as "A Viking Quest". Presumably, he would have assigned one of the trials needed to gain admission to the council.
The NPC is very unfinished, lacking any chathead or options. He used a placeholder appearance also used by Peer and Sigmund, slightly resembling the appearance of Swensen the Navigator in the final version.
The NPC was deleted before the end of the beta. Unlike all the other NPCs in the beta version of The Fremennik Trials, Hallifred does not have any equivalent in the final version, with Swensen the Navigator possibly taking his spot.
