The West Ardougne Cat Appreciation Society is an organisation in West Ardougne centred around cats. According to Siv Illian, the West Ardougnese citizens use cats to keep the mouse and rat population under control in order to prevent the spreading of the plague, for which they are very thankful. The society is planning on opening a 'community-led cat café' to the public at some point.
