Forum:A convention on protecting new update articles to autoconfirmed

These articles continually get vandalised. Whilst this is regularly done, if we could actually have this 'rule' enforced whenever there's a major update it will save a lot of hassle. We can put up a template at the top explaining that the article is of a recent update and therefore protected, or something like that.

It's a convention. We can have some sort of de facto protection time as we go along. What do you think?

Comment - Most of the anon edits from new monsters are helpful edits, like adding what it drops and stuff. It'd be a shame to not let them do that just because a few people decide to vandalize the page. -- Spine^Talk 20:19, August 27, 2015 (UTC)

I recognise that this is an unfortunate effect of enforcing this. Neutral - I'm not really for or against protecting it from anons. It could help prevent multiple people constantly adding their garbage when no admins are on, but if we had more than 2 active admins this wouldn't even be an issue. Mage Hybrid ^talk 04:10, August 28, 2015 (UTC)
