Illerai:Article feedback
Article feedback is a feature that allows users to leave anonymous feedback about a mainspace page on the Old School RuneScape Wiki. Users can enter a comment, and optionally select a rating out of five stars, which will post the feedback to the article's talk page using a bot. It will also post the feedback in our Discord server, so that it can be easily seen and actioned by editors.
The feature was added by consensus in June 2024.
Creating and resolving feedback
To leave feedback on a mainspace page, click the Give feedback button next to the title at the top of the page.
Once the article has been changed according to feedback (or if it does not need any changes), the section on the talk page can be marked as resolved by clicking the red "Unresolved" button in the template.
Blocking feedback submissions
If a user is abusing the feedback feature:
- Go to the feedback section on the talk page and click "Edit source"
- Copy the part after
id=
in the template, which looks something like6cf6fe52-c3bc-4fc8-9291-48a022e2fc98
- Report the ID to an administrator on Discord, or create a post on RuneScape:User help.
For administrators:
- Run
/articlefeedbackblock <id> <reason>
in a Discord channel.
The user who submitted the feedback will now be blocked from submitting, and will see a generic "There was a problem. Please try again later." error when trying to submit feedback.
