Much Clans, Very Wiki, WOWEE! I'm pretty active in the Discord server and I think(hope?) I'm funny and likeable enough. With my focus being more on OSRS than RS3 of late I figure I can take a greater part in the upcoming clan!

I, Ethan Obi, accept this nomination for a rank in the Old School Runescape Wiki clan chat. I have read the clan chat rules and the rank guide pertaining to my desired rank. I understand that this nomination may fail. If I do get community consensus, I promise not to abuse my tools because I am aware that this is a serious transgression. If the community finds that I have done so, I understand that my rank will be revoked, and that in extreme cases I could be given a community ban. Oppose – I'm not convinced you'd do great as a moderator, given your history of getting into arguments on Discord and escalating them; you have also said you have anger issues which makes me worried how you'd handle any potential issues you become involved with in a position of power. --Julia ^talk 13:54, 24 May 2021 (UTC)

Neutral - There haven't been very many interactions between us and I do not see that much of interactions between others so this is more to state that I do not have enough to say yea/nay on and I will defer to others and the closure result.User:Fjara/Signature 05:21, 28 May 2021 (UTC)

Oppose - Unfortunately, for me, this is a question about character. Sure the clan chat rank is mostly meaningless beyond allowing you to kick members from the CC, however there have been numerous occasions in the past where you have not, in my opinion, acted appropriately. An instance I can recall specifically was back in 2017 when you were a membe of the Events Team on RSW, you were constantly getting into arguments with others about really silly stuff, and eventually you just suddenly resigned from the ET which seemed like a direct result of the conflict you kept getting into. I think people raised issues about your behaviour in Discord even up to 2020.

In a social space like a clan chat, there's constantly going to be people discussing things that you might not agree with or have a conflicting opinion with. It's okay to share your opinion, but because of these prior instances I just don't know if I can trust you to be the one actually moderating any of these discussions, especially if they might venture into a controversial topic.

That said, I'm happy to be proved wrong. If the majority here is fine with you having a CC rank, then we'll see how it goes. I just don't see this going any differently to the ET stuff. jayden 12:02, 28 May 2021 (UTC)
