Illerai:Requests for deletion/Template:Floor
Template:Floor
Hatnotes are generally meant to direct players to other pages, often times with an ambiguous/similar title; this template just isn't doing it. It is notifying users of a specific style guide guideline. It is kind of inconsistently applied to pages (should it be on every page that transcludes FloorNumber, or just ones that have high uses of it?). What I would consider more effective at stopping users from changing from UK to US floor numbering is the fact that Template:FloorNumber only takes input with its uk
parameter, and the fact that it uses TemplateData, which helps with modifying the template in VisEditor that newcomers use.

Comment - Leaning towards delete, with how the FloorNumber template has been implemented onto just about every relevant page. This would also help cut down on some amount of header bloat, even though this warning isn't technically one of the typical header blocks. BigDiesel2m (talk) 23:09, 8 June 2022 (UTC)
Delete - Unless someone can come up with a good reason not to, I don't see why it shouldn't go. It's used not that often and obviously was not as helpful as changing Template:FloorNumber to have uk param because prior to that, even on pages with Floor, it would get changed constantly. Maybe the warning/info about the setting can be added to the template data of floornumber? User:Fjara/Signature 21:50, 20 June 2022 (UTC)
Delete - Outdated template barely used made obsolete due to floornumber template imo User:Crow/Signature 18:34, 28 June 2022 (UTC)
