This varbit keeps track of the player's progress of teaching about food during 2020 Christmas event.
Values
- 0 - The player has not talked to the goblin generals about food. The Goblin Cook (Mudknuckles) has non-event dialogue. The cauldron in the kitchen has no event interaction.
- 1 - The Goblin Cook says the player can search the kitchen for ingredients and use the cauldron. Changes the goblin generals' subsequent dialogue slightly when talking about food. Set when the player exclaims:
Eyes, cream. I see. I'll have a look in the kitchens and see if I can find anything to cook for you.
- 2 - The player has finished cooking the stew by placing all three ingredients to the cauldron. Changes the goblin generals' subsequent dialogue slightly when talking about food, if the player destroyed the Goblin stew and left it stew in the cauldron, telling the player has finished cooking. The shelves, sacks and cupboards no longer have a search option in the kitchen. The Goblin Cook's event dialogue changes offering to try the stew; subsequently after the Goblin Cook has tasted the stew (if RS:Varbit/11733 value is also 1), the Goblin Cook will tell the player to not wait any longer and take the stew to the generals. Set when the player exclaims:
Yuck, this food smells terrible! Hopefully this should do it. I need to bring this back to the generals.
- 3 - The player has talked to the goblin generals about food, handed Goblin stew to them and the task is done. The player cannot acquire more Goblin stew from the cauldron, it doesn't have more event interaction. Changes the goblin generals' subsequent dialogue slightly when talking about trees (unless the player has completed all four tasks, in which case the updated dialogue can't be seen). The Goblin Cook's dialogue changes slightly him desiring more of the stew and needing the recipe. Required to progress RS:Varbit/11718 further (along with other tasks: RS:Varbit/11724, RS:Varbit/11725 and RS:Varbit/11726). Set when the player exclaims:
I did! Here you go, have a taste.
