    If the player attempts to path from far enough outside of the special tile region, the player's pathing will stop at the outside edge of the special tiles.

    Once the player steps on one of the tiles inside the region, the player's movement is frozen and the Is that Iffie? dialogue is forced on the player with normal priority (meaning it won't close any of player's interfaces on top, like new high priority interfaces would). Most actions while the Is that Iffie? dialogue interface is open – including yellow X movement, red X ops (such as talk-to) and e.g. Lumbridge Home Teleport – do nothing. The forced chat interface and action restrictions persist over logouts. The player can teleport with 1-tick teleports like Varrock Teleport to close the forced chat interface and allow the player to move and perform actions again without progressing to value 28; however, the special tiles remain active.

    The special tile area is rectangular, and does not cover the whole Blue Moon Inn bar. Assumably, a single rectangle was easier and faster to implement for the Old School RuneScape team than marking each tile inside the Blue Moon Inn while excluding a few outdoor tiles. Thus a few tiles next to the stairs and the hat rack are not considered special tiles.
