After choosing to start the quest when in dialogue with the boy. Also set to 1 after Nora T Hagg teleports the player out of the garden when they are caught.

After searching and finding the magnet in the cupboard behind the gate in the basement.

Upon unlocking the door the garden by attaching the magnet to the mouse's harness and the mouse runs back into the hole. Can be set back to 1 if the Witch catches the player in the garden.

Upon opening the the diary after unlocking the door to the garden.

After defeating the Witch's experiment.

After giving the boy the ball and he thanks the player. Quest complete.
