Starting out

  • Player: Hello. Is everything okay? You look a little lost.
  • Rick: Hello? Who's there? I can't see anything.
  • Player: My name is [player name]. Perhaps you would see better if you took that pumpkin off?
  • Rick: Oh, wow, I never thought of that.
  • Player: It seems pretty obvious if you ask me.
  • Rick: ...
  • Rick: It's not as easy as you might think. I can't just take this pumpkin off, because it has swapped places with my head.
  • Swapped places with your head?
    • Player: Swapped places with your head? How did you manage that?
    • Rick: I was doing some research on farming. Pumpkins are actually very easy to cast spells on, much like cabbages.
    • Rick: I was reading this very interesting book about it called 'Kwuarm and peas'. You should totally read it.
    • Rick: The nature of pumpkins is fascinating. And the thought of magically farming them without having to dirty your hands - amazing!
    • Player: I think the pumpkin's getting to his head.
    • Rick: There's also a section about magically cooking the vegetables, which is really good for me because I don't know how to cook.
    • Player: Can you get to the point? How did you swap your head with a pumpkin?
    • Rick: Oh, umm... right. So I was casting this spell on a pumpkin, and I must have gotten part of it wrong.
    • Rick: Before I knew it, my head had swapped places with the pumpkin!
    • Player: That is horrible! What are you going to do now?
    • Rick: Well. I must find a way to re-attach my head. I don't suppose you could help me?
    • Sure, I'll help you.
      • Player: Sure, I'll help you.
      • Rick: That's awesome! I think the first thing we need to do is recover my head. I thought it would be best to leave it in my room to keep it safe.
      • Rick: However, moving around without a head proved more difficult than I thought. Could you fetch it for me please?
      • Player: I'll get your head for you. Where is it?
      • Rick: I left it in my room at the Wizards' Tower, just south of there, across the bridge.
      • Player: I'll... head right there.
      • Rick: Wait, before you go, I apologise for the mess. I haven't cleaned my room in a while.
      • Player: Thanks for the heads up!
      • Rick: I'm starting to regret this...
      • (End of dialogue)
    • Not right now.
      • Player: Not right now.
      • Rick: Oh, okay. Goodbye.
      • (End of dialogue)
  • Who are you?
    • Player: Who are you?
    • Rick: My name is Rick and originally I come from Ardougne. I am a student who studies magical farming at the Wizards' Tower.
    • Player: It certainly looks like you know the ins and outs of pumpkins.
    • Rick: Sigh.
    • Player: Can I call you Really Headless Rick? It has a nice ring to it.
    • Rick: I'd prefer it if you didn't. Besides, I haven't completely lost my head. I know roughly where it is. I'm only nearly headless.
    • Player: Nearly headless? How can you be nearly headless?
    • Rick: By leaving your head at home when you go out.
    • (Shows other options)
  • What are you doing out here?
    • Player: What are you doing out here?
    • Rick: I went out to find a way to revert this pumpkin head. I left my actual head at the tower though.
    • Rick: I figured it would be safer there, but now I regret it. I can't see anything without my head, and I keep bumping into trees!
    • Player: I see.
    • Rick: I don't.
    • Player: ...
    • (Shows other options)
  • Goodbye.
    • Player: Goodbye.
    • Rick: Laters, [player name].
    • (End of dialogue)

  • What are you doing out here?
    • (Same as above)
  • Goodbye.
    • (Same as above)

    • (Same as above)
  • Not right now.
    • (Same as above)

Talking to Rick after agreeing to help him

  • Rick: Hey, [player name]. Have you found my head yet?
  • Player: Hello. No, sadly not.
  • Where did you say your head was?
    • Player: Where did you say your head was?
    • Rick: I left it in my room at the Wizards' Tower, just south of here, across the bridge. My room is through the orange portal on the middle floor.
    • Player: I'll... head right there.
    • Rick: Wait, before you go, I apologise for the mess. I haven't cleaned my room in a while.
    • Player: Thanks for the heads up!
    • Rick: I'm starting to regret this...
    • (End of dialogue)
  • Who are you?
    • (Same as above)
  • What are you doing out here?
    • (Same as above)
  • Goodbye.
    • (Same as above)

Searching Rick's room

Upon using the Portal to Rick's room

  • Rick's gramophone is playing a jaunty little tune. Maybe this is what cool kids listen to, these days.
  • (End of dialogue)

Search bed

  • You find a strange looking box. It seems to be locked.
  • (End of dialogue)

Search crate

  • You trawl through the crate but find no head.
  • (End of dialogue)

Search bookshelf

  • There's no head among the dusty books.
  • (End of dialogue)

Search wardrobe

  • The wardrobe looks empty. No head in there.
  • (End of dialogue)

Talking to Rick after entering his room but not finding his head

  • Rick: Hey, [player name]. Have you found my head yet?
  • Player: Hello. No, sadly not. I went to your room but couldn't find it.
  • Rick: Again, I apologise for the mess. Have you checked under the bed?
  • Player: Good idea. I'll look for it there.
  • Who are you?
    • (Same as above)
  • What are you doing out here?
    • (Same as above)
  • Goodbye.
    • (Same as above)

Giving Rick back his head

Talking to Rick after finding his box

  • Rick: Hey, [player name]. Have you found my head yet?
  • Player: Hello. No, sadly not. I did find this box though.
  • Rick: Ah yes, my box! I think that's where I stored my head. I've bumped into too many trees today to remember how to unlock it.
  • Rick: Perhaps you can find a way to unlock it?
  • Player: I'll give it a try.
  • Rick: I think it had something to do with a bartender. Or maybe I just need a beer right now.
  • Who are you?
    • (Same as above)
  • What are you doing out here?
    • (Same as above)
  • Goodbye.
    • (Same as above)

Unlocking Rick's box

  • Player: There seems to be a riddle on it...
  • Wizards Mizgog, Sedridor and Traiborn walk into a bar. The bartender serves them two wizard mind bombs and one asgarnian ale. The bar closes at 11, at which point everyone leaves. How many people left the bar?
  • How many people left the bar? (player input)
  • If the player answers correctly:
    • Inside the box you find a head and hope it is Rick's.
    • (End of dialogue)
  • If the player answers incorrectly:
    • Player: No... That's not it.
    • (End of dialogue)

After destroying Rick's head

  • Rick: Hey, [player name]. Have you found my head yet?
  • Player: I did find it! But then I lost it again.
  • Rick: You lost it? Oh no! Perhaps it might still be under my bed in the Wizards' Tower.
  • Player: Good idea. I'll look for it there.
  • Who are you?
    • Rick: Hey, [player name]. Have you found my head yet?
    • Player: I did find it! But then I lost it again.

    • (Shows previous options)
  • What are you doing out here?
    • Player: What are you doing out here?

    • Rick: You lost it? Oh no! Perhaps it might still be under my bed in the Wizards' Tower.
    • Player: Good idea. I'll look for it there.
    • (Shows previous options)
  • Goodbye.
    • (Same as above)

Retrieving Rick's head from under the bed

  • You find a head and hope it is Rick's.
  • (Player receives Rick's head.)
  • (End of dialogue)

Inspecting Rick's head

  • This head was found in Rick's box. Hopefully it's him.
  • (End of dialogue)

Reuniting Rick with his head

  • Rick: Hey, [player name]. Have you found my head yet?
  • Player: I did find it! Here you go.
  • You hand over Rick's head.(Transcript missing - Not sure is this is transcribed text. edit)
  • Rick: Thank you so much for returning my head! Now all we need to do is find a way to re-attach it to my body. I'm sick of this pumpkin!
  • Player: How do you propose we do that?
  • Rick: Well... I didn't want to ask the other wizards about it, because frankly it's embarrassing! That's why I came out here alone.
  • Player: So you think the wizards may know a way to revert this?
  • Rick: It's worth a shot. Perhaps one of the higher-ups know something about it. Could you ask them for me?
  • Player: Yes, I'll try to speak to the wizards for you.
  • Rick: Great! I will try to make my way back to the Wizards' Tower. Once you've found a way to revert the spell, see me in my room.
  • Rick stumbles away awkwardly towards the Wizards' Tower.(Transcript missing - Not sure is this is transcribed text. edit)
  • (End of dialogue)

Talking to Rick after giving him his head but before being told to talk to the other wizards

  • Player: Hello, Rick.

Speaking to Rick again

  • Player: Hello, Rick.
  • Rick: Hey, [player name].
  • Talk about Rick's head.
    • Rick: Have you spoken to any of the wizards yet?
    • Player: No, not yet.
    • Which wizard should I talk to?
      • Player: Which wizard should I talk to?
      • Rick: One of the higher-ups would know. I don't know which one exactly.
      • (Shows other options)
    • Where can I find the wizards?
      • Player: Where can I find the wizards?
      • Rick: The wizards would be in the Wizards' Tower. Just exit using my portal over there.
      • Rick: Perhaps someone up on the top floor might be able to help.
      • (Shows other options)
    • How are you doing?
      • Player: How are you doing?
      • Rick: Honestly? Not so good. I'm glad you found my head, but, well... I'm scared I'll have to stay this way forever!
      • Player: Don't worry, we will find a way.
      • Rick: Thank you, that means a lot.
      • Talk about Rick's head.
        • (Same as above)
      • Goodbye.

    • Player: Goodbye.
    • Rick: Laters, [player name].
    • (End of dialogue)

Speaking to the higher-up wizards

Speaking to Sedridor

  • Sedridor: Welcome adventurer, to the world renowned Wizards' Tower. How may I help you?
  • Talk about Rick.
    • Player: Hello! Do you happen to know anything about swapping heads with vegetables?
    • Sedridor: I can't say I do. That sounds like Mizgog's area.
    • Player: Alright, I'll have a chat with him then.
    • Sedridor: Do so. You can find him on the top floor. Best of luck!
    • Player: Thank you, Sedridor.
    • (End of dialogue)
  • (Non-event dialogue) Talk about something else.

Speaking to Traiborn

  • Talk about Rick.
    • Player: Hello! Do you happen to know anything about swapping heads with vegetables?
    • Wizard Traiborn: Hello there. I don't know anything about that. I'm far too concerned about thingummywuts.
    • Player: I see. Do you know who I can talk to about it?
    • Wizard Traiborn: If anyone were to know anything about that, it would probably be Mizgog. You can find him on the top floor. I think I see one! Right there!
    • Player: Thank you. Good luck with the thingummywuts.
    • Wizard Traiborn: Hmmm yes thingummywuts.
    • (End of dialogue)
  • (Non-event dialogue) Talk about something else.

Speaking to Wizard Mizgog

  • Talk about Rick.
    • Player: Hello! Do you happen to know anything about swapping heads with vegetables?
    • Wizard Mizgog: Hello there. Swapping heads with vegetables, you say? Have we got a cabbage head on our hands?
    • Player: Not quite. You see, Ri- uhm... my friend... accidentally swapped his head with a pumpkin.
    • Wizard Mizgog: Ah yes. I know many young wizards who have attempted that spell and failed. They tend to be arrogant and take on more than they can handle.
    • Wizard Mizgog: The last wizard who got his head swapped like that couldn't get it back for months.
    • Player: That's terrible! How did they end up reverting the spell?
    • Wizard Mizgog: Sadly there's nothing I can do. There's only one person who knows that kind of magic well enough. Her name is Eve.
    • Player: Eve? Who is that?
    • Wizard Mizgog: Once a year, around this time, the witch Eve shows up. Little is known about her. Some say that she's been around for longer than any of us.
    • Wizard Mizgog: And that she knows a lot about old magic that is mostly lost to us now.
    • Player: Where can I find this witch?
    • Wizard Mizgog: Like I said, she only shows up once a year, but it should be around this time.
    • Mizgog checks his calendar.
    • Wizard Mizgog: Ah, it should be tonight! What a coincidence. She sometimes sets up camp east of here, along the west coast of the Lumbridge Swamp.
    • Player: Ancient witch Eve, camp west of Lumbridge Swamp... Got it! Thank you, Wizard Mizgog.
    • Wizard Mizgog: My pleasure, [player name]. Be careful out there. Not all who go to see Eve return.
    • Player: Whelp. I'll try my best to make it back.
    • (End of dialogue)
  • (Non-event dialogue) Talk about something else.

Speaking to Wizard Mizgog again after Mizgog mentions Eve but before he reveals she will be in the swamp tonight

  • Talk about Eve.

Speaking to Wizard Mizgog again

  • Talk about Eve.
    • Player: Where did you say Eve was?
    • Wizard Mizgog: Eve only shows up around this time of year. She is said to appear along the west coast of the Lumbridge Swamp.
    • Player: Why does she only appear around this time?
    • Wizard Mizgog: Well, I'm no expert when it comes to witches, but... with how long she's been around, people are speculating that she might be dead.
    • Player: DEAD? You're sending me to talk to a dead witch?
    • Wizard Mizgog: Well, yes. Possibly. Dead and come back to life for this one day a year. That's what they say anyway. Personally I think that sounds ridiculous.
    • Player: Dead or not... guess I'll have to go see her for Rick's sake.
    • Wizard Mizgog: Rick? So he's the pumpkin head? I won't let him forget that one!
    • Player: Hopefully he'll forgive me for this if I can find a way to revert his head.
    • (Non-event dialogue) Talk about something else.
    • Goodbye.
      • Player: Goodbye.
      • Wizard Mizgog: Until next time, [player name].
      • (End of dialogue)
  • (Non-event dialogue) Talk about something else.

Getting Eve's help

Talking to Rick before finding Eve

  • Player: Hello, Rick.
  • Rick: Hey, [player name].
  • Talk about Rick's head.
    • Rick: Have you spoken to any of the wizards yet?
    • Player: I did. Wizard Mizgog told me of someone who may be able to help. I need to investigate more.
    • Rick: Good luck. Whomever it was he talked about, I hope they can help.
  • How are you doing?
    • (Same as above)
  • Goodbye.
    • (Same as above)

Finding Eve

  • Player: There's something mesmerising about this fire...
  • Some time passes.
  • Cutscene begins. The day passes and the bonfire turns green.
  • Player: Is it night time already? I must have stayed here a while.
  • Player: But the fire... it seems almost... magical.
  • You hear a strange sound coming from somewhere close.
  • Eve appears and walks toward the bonfire.
  • Eve: Haha! Ahhh I'm back! Hello Gielinor! Hahaha!
  • Player: Whoa! Who is that?
  • Eve: Friends, come join me!
  • Eve summons Yanes.
  • Yanes: Rrraaaarggghh!
  • Eve summons Hogst.
  • If the player is not wearing a ghostspeak amulet
    • Hogst: Woooo woo
  • If the player is wearing a ghostspeak amulet
    • Hogst: Finally!
  • Eve summons Yeldive.
  • Yeldive: Aah wonderful - I'm back!
  • Eve: And let's not forget you, my dear.
  • Eve summons Pouncer.
  • Eve: Good boy.
  • If the player is not wearing a ghostspeak amulet
    • Pouncer: Woo wooo
  • If the player is wearing a ghostspeak amulet
    • Pouncer: Woof
  • Eve: Well, what are we waiting for? Let's get this party started!
  • Eve conjures a barrel of spiders and a cauldron of brew.
  • Eve: Drink! Eat! Dance! And may this night last forever!
  • Eve begins to dance, and the camera pans towards the player.
  • Player: What in the world have I stumbled upon?
  • Eve: Hey, you!
  • Player: Who, me?
  • Eve: Yes, you, [player name]. Come over here!
  • Player: Whelp.
  • (End of dialogue)

Exiting the cutscene early

  • Player: Wow. Was it all just a dream?
  • (End of dialogue)

Talking to Hogst, Yanes, and Yeldive

Getting Eve's help

Talking to Rick before talking to Eve

  • Player: Hello, Rick.
  • Rick: Hey, [player name].
  • Talk about Rick's head.
    • Rick: Have you spoken to any of the wizards yet?
    • Player: I did. I also talked to a witch.
    • Rick: A witch?
    • Player: Yes. I think she might be able to help, but I need to talk to her more.
    • Rick: I never trusted witches, but... I trust you. Good luck out there, [player name].
    • (End of dialogue)
  • How are you doing?
    • (Same as above)
  • Goodbye.
    • (Same as above)

Taking from barrel or cauldron before talking to Eve

  • Player: It would be rude to take that without talking to anyone first.
  • (End of dialogue)

Dancing by bonfire before talking to Eve

  • Player: There's no time to dance, I need to help Rick.
  • (End of dialogue)

Speaking to Eve initially

  • Eve: Hello there, [player name]. Welcome, welcome!
  • Player: You must be Eve! How do you know my name?
  • Eve: I am indeed! I know a lot of things. Like about your friend, Rick, the pumpkin head.
  • Player: What? How do you know about him?
  • Eve: Never mind him. This night is too beautiful to care about such trivial things. Come dance with us!
  • Player: This is not really the time to dance.
  • Eve: Not a dancer, eh? Then come relax by the fire. Have a drink! Eat some snacks. Enjoy yourself!
  • Player: But I... I have to help Rick. I don't have time for this.
  • Eve: Suit yourself. I'm going dancing!
  • Player: Eve, wait!
  • Player: Ah... too late. She's busy dancing already.

Having fun at the party

Eating the spider

  • Player: This spider is actually not that bad!
  • You eat the spider snack. It makes you feel surprisingly comfortable.
  • (End of dialogue)

Drinking from the cauldron

  • Player: This is good! I wonder what's in it? Actually... I'd rather not know.
  • You drink the witch's brew. It's better than you thought it would be.
  • (End of dialogue)

Dancing by the bonfire

  • Player: Wow, this is actually fun!
  • Player: Wooo!
  • (End of dialogue)

Getting the incantation from Eve

  • Talk about Rick.
    • If the player has not eaten a spider snack:
      • Eve: You should eat some snacks!
    • If the player has not drunken a witch's brew:
      • Eve: You should drink some brew from the cauldron!
    • If the player has not danced by the fire:
      • Eve: You should dance by the fire!
      • Eve: Have some fun, and then we'll talk.
      • (End of dialogue)
    • If the player has had the required fun at the party:
      • Player: This is some party you've got going here!
      • Eve: Isn't it? Every day's a party, [player name]!
      • Player: I'm afraid I've over-indulged though. I lost track of time, and my friend Rick really needs me.
      • Eve: I see. This seems to matter a great deal to you.
      • Player: It does. I haven't known Rick for long but I can't let him down.
      • Eve: Well, you certainly know how to party. I like that. I will help you, [player name].
      • Player: Really? That's great!
      • Player: Wait a second. How do you know what I need help with?
      • Eve: Like I said before, I know a lot of things. Don't you worry about the whys and hows of things you can't change.
      • Player: I suppose you're right.
      • Eve: I'm sad to see you go, but...
      • Eve: Here. Take this incantation. When Rick casts this spell on his head, it should swap places with the pumpkin.
      • Player: Eve... thank you so much.
      • Eve: You're very welcome. And hey, come back and party with us some time!
        • If the player does not have inventory space:
          • Eve: Ah, it seems you have no space for the incantation right now.
          • (End of dialogue)
        • If the player does have inventory space:
          • (Player receives Incantation.)
          • (End of dialogue)
  • Talk about Eve.
    • Player: What are you doing here?
    • Eve: What does it look like? Partying, of course!
    • Player: I can see that but... why? What's the occasion?
    • Eve: Well, when you only have one night in this world, you should make the best out of it!
    • Player: Only one night?
    • Eve: Enough talk, let's get back to the dancing!

Talking to Eve again after mentioning the party but before receiving the incantation

Talking to Even again after she tries to give the incantation but the inventory is full

  • Eve: Here. Take this incantation. When Rick casts this spell on his head, it should swap places with the pumpkin.
  • Player: Eve... thank you so much.
  • Eve: You're very welcome. And hey, come back and party with us some time!
  • (Player receives Incantation.)
  • (End of dialogue)

Talking to Eve again with the incantation

  • Player: Hey again, Eve.
  • Eve: Hello, [player name]. Shouldn't you be giving that incantation to Rick?
  • Player: Oh, right. I'll hurry to the Wizards' Tower.
  • (End of dialogue)

Talking to Eve again without the incantation

  • Player: Hey again, Eve.
  • Eve: Hello, [player name]. Shouldn't you be giving that incantation to Rick?
  • Player: I lost the incantation.
  • Eve: That's alright, I always keep some spare. Here you go.
  • (End of dialogue)

Replacing Rick's head

Talking to Mizgog

  • Talk about Eve.
    • Player: Hey Mizgog! I found Eve.
    • Wizard Mizgog: Did you really? What was she like?
    • Player: She was at all not as I expected. She might be dead, but she sure knows how to party!
    • Wizard Mizgog: Party? Did you party with an undead witch?
    • Player: I... I guess I did.
    • Player: She gave me an incantation for a spell. When Rick cast it, his head went back to normal!
    • Wizard Mizgog: Did it really? That's great news. Now I don't have to feel bad for making fun of his pumpkin head.
    • Wizard Mizgog: Not that it stopped me, of course. It's just that now I don't have to feel bad about it.
    • (Non-event dialogue) Talk about something else.
    • Goodbye.
      • (Same as above)
  • (Non-event dialogue) Talk about something else.

Without the incantation

  • Player: Rick! I've found a way to revert the spell!
  • Rick: Really? That's amazing news!
  • Player: Eve gave me an incantation, but I seem to have lost it.
  • Rick: Perhaps you should go back to her and get it.
  • (End of dialogue)

With the incantation

  • Player: Rick! I've found a way to revert the spell!
  • Rick: Really? That's amazing news!
  • Player: Here you go. I got this incantation from a witch named Eve.
  • Rick: Eve? Who's that?
  • Player: Don't you worry about the whos and hows of this. What's important is that this will put your head back in place.
  • Player: Or shall I say... get your head in the right headspace.
  • Rick: You really gotta stop that. Anyway, how do we get rid of this pumpkin?
  • Player: This incantation will hopefully work.
  • Rick: Alright, [player name]. Let's cast this spell.
  • Rick: Ehem. Here I go.
  • Rick: Hocus...
  • Rick: Pocus...
  • Rick: Pumpkinoculus!
  • Rick's head is transformed from a pumpkin to his regular head
  • Rick: My head! Did it work?
  • Rick: I can see! How do I look?
  • Player: You look like yourself! Well, I asssume it's you. I've never actually seen your face before.
  • Rick: Thank you so much, [player name]. What would I do without you?
  • Player: You'd still be bumping into trees near Draynor Village, I imagine.
  • Rick: Yeah I still have some bruises from that. Anyway, here. Take this as a thank you.
  • Rick: I never want to see a pumpkin again!
  • Player: Thank you, Rick. I'll see you around.
  • Rick: Not if I see you first!
  • Event complete!

Talking to Eve again

  • Player: Hey Eve!
  • Eve: [player name]! You're back! Here to party some more?
  • Player: You never get sick of partying, do you?
  • Eve: Well, you see, I spend the rest of the year in the afterlife. And that is quite boring.
  • Player: The afterlife?
  • Eve: Yes. You know, where you go when youi die. Anyway, that's boring stuff. Coming back here is fun!
  • Player: How do you come back?
  • Eve: Magic, my friend!
  • What kind of magic?
    • Player: What kind of magic?
    • Eve: You wouldn't understand. If you're so interested, talk to the other people around here. They've returned from the afterlife as well.
    • Player: Have they? Interesting.
    • (End of dialogue)
  • Good Bye
    • Player: Good Bye
    • Eve: Come back soon!
    • (End of dialogue)

Talking to Rick after completing the event

  • Player: Hello again, Rick.
  • Rick: Hey, [player name]! What's up?
  • Do you have anything for me?
    • Player: Do you have anything for me?
    • Rick: Nope, I already gave you the pumpkin that used to be on my head, as well as my enchanted helm.
    • Rick: If you can't find them, perhaps you should seek out Diango in Draynor Village. He collects these things.
    • (End of dialogue)
  • How are you doing?
    • Player: How are you doing?
    • Rick: Excellent! I've not felt this good in ages!
    • Player: I'm glad to hear that.
    • Rick: Have you heard the song that's playing? I just want to listen to it on repeat for 10 hours!
    • Rick: Anyway, thanks again for your help, I would have been stuck as a pumpkin if it wasn't for you.
    • Player: Always happy to help.
    • (Shows other options)
  • Goodbye.
    • Player: Goodbye.
    • Rick: Take care, [player name].
    • (End of dialogue)
