- Player: Hi, I am trying to find the cause of the curse on your town.
- Garai: What curse is that?
- Player: Don't you know? The curse that has stopped your fountain working and made all the water dry up when you bring it back from the river?
- Garai: Ohh that's because of a curse? I didn't think of that.
- Player: So any ideas about the cause of the curse?
- Garai: Absolutely none.

After learning from Awusah the Mayor that they threw the statue of Elidinis away
- Player: I heard the people of Nardah threw their statue of Elidinis away.
- Garai: Did they? What did they want to go and do a thing like that for?
- Player: A Saradominist priest who was staying here told them too.
- Garai: There was a Saradominist priest here?
- Player: You don't seem to notice much. Do you even live here?
- Garai: Yes, I just don't get out that much.

- Player: How's life now the curse has been lifted?
- Garai: It's been lifted? I hadn't realised. I've still been buying water from Ali the Carter!
