Standard dialogue

  • You look ready for combat.
    • Player: Wow, didn't expect to find a scientist out here.
    • Phabelle Bile: I'm out here on a mission, do you think I chose to hang around these lowlifes?
    • Player: I'm not one to judge.
    • Player: What is this 'mission' you mentioned?
    • Phabelle Bile: I'm out here to conduct research, I've been told a giant spider lurks in the heart of the Wilderness.
    • Phabelle Bile: Her venom is priceless and it would aid me greatly in my research.
    • Player: Research? What could you possibly want with a giant spider's venom?
    • Phabelle Bile: Venenatis is the last of her kind. Lots of giant spiders used to dwell deep in the mountains until the savage dwarves killed them all.
    • Phabelle Bile: She is the last one left and I must have a sample of her venom.
    • Phabelle Bile: What I want with the specimen however, is none of your business!
    • With no Venenatis kills:
      • Player: Woah sorry, didn't mean to touch a nerve. Fighting a giant spider sounds like a great idea.
      • Phabelle Bile: I've tried to put it off for as long as I could, but this is the final component needed for my research.
      • Player: Then what are you waiting around here for? Go out there and fight her.
      • (Continues below)
    • With at least one Venenatis kill:
      • Player: Are you sure you're equipped to take it down? I've had the displeasure of dealing with Venenatis, she will not go down easily.
      • Phabelle Bile: It will not be easy, but if I can get her when she's wounded in her lair, it should be a fairer fight.
      • Player: I didn't know she had a lair. I thought she just roamed the Wilderness.
      • Phabelle Bile: She only returns there to lick her wounds and rest, I need to be patient.
      • Player: So that explains why you're waiting here.
      • (Continues below)
    • Phabelle Bile: I would go out and fight her now, but I must admit, I am also a little scared. I've never been in a fight before.
    • Player: I'm sure you'll be alright, it's just a gigantic spider!
    • Phabelle Bile: Thanks for your words of confidence...
    • (End of dialogue)
  • (If the player has Thammaron's sceptre or the Skull of Vet'ion:) Ask about rare item.
    • With only Thammaron's sceptre in the inventory:
      • Player: Hey. Do you know anything about this?
      • You show the sceptre to Phabelle Bile.
      • Phabelle Bile: Well, would you look at that. Most fascinating.
      • Player: Could you tell me what's so fascinating?
      • Phabelle Bile: It's a rare Zamorakian artifact. I haven't seen any quite like this one before.
      • Phabelle Bile: If you look closely, you can see that it has a socket where you can place an item to increase its power.
      • Player: Interesting! I'll be on the lookout for that.
      • (End of dialogue)
    • With only the Skull of Vet'ion in the inventory:
      • Player: Hey. Do you know anything about this?
      • You show the skull to Phabelle Bile.
      • Phabelle Bile: So it's real. Magnificent.
      • Player: You've seen this before?
      • Phabelle Bile: No, but I have heard tales of the mighty Vet'Ion.
      • Phabelle Bile: It is said his skull can power a certain Zamorakian weapon.
      • Player: Interesting! I'll be on the lookout for that.
      • (End of dialogue)
    • With both in the inventory:
      • Player: Hey. Do you know anything about this?
      • You show the sceptre to Phabelle Bile.
      • Phabelle Bile: Well, would you look at that. Most fascinating.
      • Player: Could you tell me what's so fascinating?
      • Phabelle Bile: It's a rare Zamorakian artifact. I haven't seen any quite like this one before.
      • Phabelle Bile: If you look closely, you can see that it has a socket where you can place an item to increase its power.
      • Player: Oh, like this skull?
      • You show the skull to Phabelle Bile.
      • Phabelle Bile: Yes, like that one! That looks powerful indeed. I think that would do quite nicely.
      • Phabelle Bile: A skilled crafter can combine the two. If you wish, I could do it for you... For a price, that is.
      • Pay 500,000 coins to combine the skull and sceptre?
      • Yes
        • If the player does not have enough coins:
          • Player: I don't have the money for that.
          • Phabelle Bile: Feel free to come back when you do.
          • (End of dialogue)
        • If the player has enough coins:
          • Phabelle Bile combines the items and gives you the Accursed sceptre (au).
          • Phabelle Bile: There we go! All done.
          • (End of dialogue)
      • No
        • Player: No thanks.
        • (End of dialogue)

Using items on her

Claws of callisto

  • Player: Hey. Do you know anything about this?
  • You show the claws to Phabelle Bile.
  • Phabelle Bile: No, I'm afraid not.
  • Player: Oh. Do you know someone who might know more?
  • Phabelle Bile: Andros Mai is a very... Devoted man. If you can see past that, he may be able to help you.
  • Player: Thanks!
  • (End of dialogue)

Fangs of venenatis

  • Player: Hey. Do you know anything about this?
  • You show the fangs to Phabelle Bile.
  • Phabelle Bile: Yes! Those belong to Venenatis!
  • Phabelle Bile: Ah, but they contain no more venom. That is disappointing.
  • Player: So you're saying they're useless?
  • Phabelle Bile: To me? Yes. But maybe not to you.
  • Phabelle Bile: I've seen that Derse Venator guy over there handle similar items. Perhaps he knows more.
  • Player: Thanks!
  • (End of dialogue)

Voidwaker part

  • Player: Hey. Do you know anything about this?
  • You show the weapon piece to Phabelle Bile.
  • Phabelle Bile: No, I'm afraid not.
  • Player: Oh. Do you know someone who might know more?
  • Phabelle Bile: Downstairs there's a strange looking person. I don't know what that item is, but if anyone would, I reckon she would.
  • Phabelle Bile: I think she said her name was Madam Sikaro.
  • Player: Thanks!
  • (End of dialogue)
