Standard dialogue
- Player: Hello. What are you doing here?
- Sergeant: We're here to keep the farmers safe from the lizardmen.
- Player: There's not many of you though.
- Sergeant: Luckily the lizardmen have been focusing their efforts elsewhere. They haven't tried to come up here yet.
- Sergeant: If they do, we can quickly call in reinforcements if required.
- Player: I see. Well I'd better let you get on then.

During Getting Ahead (prior to killing the Headless Beast)
- Player: Hello. Do you know anything about the beast causing trouble around here?
- Sergeant: The farmers mentioned it. We haven't seen anything though. Our focus is on the lizardmen.
- Player: Surely you'd notice a big beast wondering around though?
- Sergeant: The farmers said it came at night. We're not on shift then.
- Player: But then who's guarding the farm at night?
- Sergeant: That's not our problem. We're just here to follow orders.
- Player: Fine. I'll find the beast myself.
- (End of dialogue)
During A Kingdom Divided
- Player: Hello. I'm looking for Sophia Hughes.
- Sergeant: Sophia Hughes? The councillor?
- Player: That's right. I think she might have come here at some point.
- Sergeant: Well, if she did it wasn't recently. We'd have noticed a councillor.
- Player: I see. Thanks for the help.
