Uncle Joe was the uncle of the crab Snip Snip. Joe was a rock crab who lived near an unnamed sea. He was attacked by the first from a crowd of adventurers, and, after a vicious battle, was killed. His death is lamented by his nephew in a poem in the 11th Postbag from the Hedge.
