Trivia

• Although the inscription is attributed to 'Overseer Elacs' when read by the player character, the examine text names the author as 'Overseer Elac'.
• The name 'Elacs' is an anadrome of 'Scale', which might be a reference to the content of the account inscribed upon the stone tablet. This text recounts the metamorphosis of Xeric's stonemasons into Lizardmen, ending with the line: "Of course Master. We'll come to you. Scaly and strong."
