For this farming patch, all actions should be done by My Arm instead of the adventurer, so the farming items should be used on My Arm instead of the patch. The herb is grown on a new farming patch instead of the herb patch next to it.
Farmingexperience is only gained when My Arm picks the hardy goutweed, not during the other farming steps.
If the adventurer manages to select the "Pick" option on the fully grown hardy goutweed patch before it is harvested by the attending troll, or use any items on the patch, they will be treated to a line of dialogue stating either "That's My Arm's problem now!" or "That's Drunken Dwarf's Leg's problem now!", depending on their quest progression.[1]
While there is not a "Pick" option on Boulder's goutweed patch, attempting to use any items on the patch will result in a chatbox message saying: That's for Boulder to use.
