Egniol Diet is an elite combat achievement which requires the player to kill the Crystalline Hunllef without making an egniol potion, within The Gauntlet.

Strategy

This combat achievement may be more easily done when attempted alongside the Crystalline Warrior task, due to the Prayer bonus from the tier 3 perfected crystal equipment making prayer flicks less important to perfect while taking less damage.

On the other hand, the resources for tier 3 armour take a long time to gather and may even exhaust your run energy, which cannot be restored with an egniol potion if attempting this task. For players confident in their prayer flicking, it is recommended to use tier 1 armour for this achievement.

For reference, a player with 70 Prayer and tier 1 armour can keep an overhead protection prayer active for 4 minutes and 12 seconds.
