The Lumbridge Guide is located in the dinning hall of Lumbridge Castle during Recipe for Disaster. The player must inspect him to start the Freeing the Lumbridge Guide subquest. To start the subquest the player is required to have level 40 Cooking, and the following quests must have been completed: Big Chompy Bird Hunting, Plague City, Biohazard, Demon Slayer, Murder Mystery, Restless Ghost, Priest in Peril, Nature Spirit, and Witch's House.
To finish the subquest, a cake of guidance must be used on the Lumbridge Guide.
