Rolad is a dwarf scholar living in the dwarven camp found near Ice Mountain, in the eastern building. He is somewhat forgetful, losing various important pieces of paper, although he denies this.
He plays a role in the questBetween a Rock.... In said quest, he helps the player construct a book of dwarven lore, being a former member of Dondakan's mining team. He collected some pages on the Arzinian Being of Bordanzan on his travels but lost them; during the quest, they have to be retrieved from the mine below. He later remarks that he has some dwarven multicannon schematics from his time on the project, but has, once more, lost these.
