A marble fireplace can be built in the fireplace space of the parlour, dining room, and bedroom in a player-owned house. It requires 63 Construction to build and when built, it gives 500 experience. The player must have a hammer and a saw in their inventory to build it. Goblin decorations can be used on the fireplace to make a decorated marble fireplace.
To light a fire in the fireplace, logs are needed in the inventory. Lighting it gives 80 Firemaking experience. The fire will go out upon entering building mode, exiting the house, or after one to two minutes.
