Repair cost breakdown

It costs less to repair Barrows or Moons of Peril equipment at an armour stand compared to paying Bob in Lumbridge. Stat boosts do affect the price of repair. The formula used to calculate the cost at a repair stand is:

A player with a Smithing level of 60, for instance, would pay 70% of normal cost:

Simply put, every 2 Smithing levels reduces the repair cost by 1% when compared to an NPC vendor. At level 99 this equals roughly 50% in savings.

Damaged armour can also be repaired at an armour stand and give a player a platebody of a random metal from bronze to mithril. Broken armour can also be repaired at the stand and give a player a platelegs or plateskirt of random metal, from bronze to mithril. There is a chance with either armour types of breaking it beyond repair.
