The black butterfly wing is a rare creature part that may be obtained from a black warlock as part of Hunters' Rumours. The black butterfly wing can be collected without the use of a butterfly net. This requires a Hunter level of 55 for catching black warlocks barehanded.
Upon receiving a rare creature part, a game message in the chatbox will state You find a rare piece of the creature! You should take it back to the Hunter Guild.
