Cerddi

The Cerddi is a significant elvish text, containing the teachings of Seren.^[1] It was written by Ceidwad on Tarddiad^[1] before the elves came to Gielinor through the World Gate.

The Cerddi states that crystal seeds are sentient, however only Seren is known to be capable of conversing with the crystal consciousness.^[2]

The only known part of the Cerddi is quoted in the great divide book:

"only together as the eight clans can we hope to survive in this hostile new world"

Trivia

"Cerddi" translates to songs or poems in the Welsh language, this fits thematically with the elves, who use crystal singing to change the shape of crystals.^[4]
