Project Zanaris is the name given to the upcoming community servers for Old School RuneScape.

With community servers, players will be able to rent separate servers from Jagex. These servers can be customised to "create a brand-new gameplay experience". Access to the servers can be restricted to "close friends, your Clan, or the whole community".

Jagex has stated that Project Zanaris is to be looked after by "an entirely separate team" so that resources will not be taken away from Old School's development team.
