Cup of tea (Player-owned house)

A cup of tea is a drink that boosts Construction. There are three different teas available based on the cup the tea is poured into: clay, porcelain, and trimmed porcelain cups which boost Construction by 1, 2, and 3 respectively. Making tea requires 20 Cooking, and a kitchen in a player-owned house with a built stove that isn't a firepit, a larder, a sink, and the appropriate shelves for the right tea cup. Making tea yields 52 Cooking experience, however a servant can also make tea for the player. This type of tea cannot be put into a tea flask.

Note: Leaving the player-owned house will cause all tea-related items to disappear from the inventory.

Milky tea

A bucket of milk may also be added to any of the teas, but this only changes the image and the drink text and does not affect the stat boosting abilities.

Tea types

Tea made at a player-owned house can boost Construction by 1-3 levels depending on the shelves in the kitchen.

Making a cup of tea

Making tea requires 20 Cooking, and a kitchen in a player-owned house with a built stove that isn't a firepit, a larder, a sink, and the appropriate shelves for the right tea cup. Making tea yields 52 Cooking experience.

Steps
1. Take a kettle, a teapot, and a cup from the shelf.
2. Take tea leaves from the larder.
3. Use the kettle on the sink to fill it with water.
4. Use the full kettle on the stove to bring it to a boil.
5. Use the tea leaves on the teapot to fill the teapot.
6. Remove the kettle from the range once "The kettle boils." in the chatbox.
7. Use the hot kettle on the teapot with leaves to create four servings of tea, yielding the Cooking experience.
8. Use the pot of tea on a cup to pour a cup of tea.
9. (Optional) Add a bucket of milk to the cup of tea to make it milky.

Trivia

• When leaving a player-owned house the tea is deleted. Anything that causes a loading screen counts, except when enabling or disabling Building mode from inside the house.
• Because this kind of tea is not tradeable, it cannot be placed on tables.
