Goblin (race)
Goblins are small, green, humanoid creatures. Though lacking intelligence and strength, goblins make up for this with their overwhelming numbers. Goblins are followers of the god Bandos, who they refer to as the "Big High War God". Goblins are frequently at war with the other races of Gielinor, in particular dwarves and gnomes.
History
Goblins are native to the plane of Yu'biusk, and were brought to Gielinor by Bandos. This knowledge, however, is lost to them and most Goblins think they were created by Bandos himself.
Since times unknown, Goblins have been divided into twelve different tribes: the Thorobshuun, the Garagorshuun, the Rekeshuun, the Drogokishuun, the Huzamogaarb, the Saragorgak, the Ekeleshuun, the Idithuun, the Narogoshuun, the Dorgeshuun, the Horogothgar, and the Yurkolgokh.
In the God Wars, all goblins were called to fight for the armies of Bandos, with a few exceptions. The Huzamogaarb and the Saragorgak, were sold as soldiers to the gods Zamorak and Saradomin, respectively. The Dorgeshuun tribe refused to fight Bandos' war and instead took refuge beneath the earth were they still reside to this day.
Many goblins today do not remember to what tribe they belong to, and simply live on the surface in groups, disorganized. The Dorgeshuun, however, developed a vibrant culture underneath the human city of Lumbridge and have established diplomatic relations with the Duke of Lumbridge and the Dwarves of Keldagrim.
Culture
Goblin culture is one of war. To sacrifice yourself to the Big High War God is seen as the ultimate honour and goblins of all ages are encouraged to fight and become strong.
Settlements
While Goblins can be found in many places across Gielinor, surprisingly few organized settlements exist.
