Kharid-Et was settlement of the Zarosian Empire in the Second Age. The precise location of Kharid-Et is unknown. One possible location would be where current Al Kharid is situated, due to its similar name. However, the Ancient map that was discovered in the former Zarosian fortress near Ghorrock places Kharid-et just north of the source of the River Elid, currently known as the Giants' Plateau. Which purpose Kharid-Et had is also unknown, a function of military nature could be likely, due to its position on the Zarosian Empire's border with the Kharidian Lands which was the battleground of the Kharidian-Zarosian War. If this is the case, then the Giants' Plateau would seems to have been the most strategic option.
"Kharid-Et" is a valid entry when entered into the golem encountered during Desert Treasure II - The Fallen Empire. At some point after Zaros' betrayal, Kharid-Et was attacked on multiple fronts, but survived each one. However, the location was eventually sealed and abandoned after a large amount of undead were swarming the area.
