She was originally a citizen of a settlement in the north of the desert,[1] but became a refugee, when the city was destroyed during the God Wars.[2]
Naradrine fled southward into the Kharidian Desert, but in the desert she began to dehydrate and starve during the following days as she ran out of supplies.[3] In desperation she prayed to Saradomin, but he did not answer her prayers,[4] instead the MenaphitegoddessElidinis appeared before her,[5] offering Nardarine food and water if she would swear loyalty to her. Nardarine swore loyalty to Elidinis,[6] and Elidinis gave her food, water and safety as well as a stauette of herself before departing again.[7]
Following this Nardarine founded Nardah, named after herself, thanks to Elidinis' blessing the River Elid provided water for the settlement in the desert, and the town grew, becoming one of the central places of worship of Elidinis.[8]

"Her town was once controlled by Saradomin, but there was a great battle there between Saradominist and Zamorakian forces which pretty much levelled the town to the ground. Most of the human citizens perished. Nardarine had the wisdom to escape into the desert before the fighting got really serious and thus survived."

Nardarine said 'If you would grant me a safe home, with a supply of food and water, then I would surely do this for it is more than any other God would seem to do for me'."

"Then Elidinis made a spring of water appear at Nardarines feet and brought stone from below the sand so that she might have something to build with. She called forth camels which have many uses and taste good in kebabs. She then provided Nardarine with a statuette in her image to worship. Nardarine built up her home."

Nardarine let them stay with her as long as they did make the same oath as her. Hence the town of Nardah was born and Nardarine lived the rest of her days in the peacefulness that she craved."
