The Raw pheasant was an item originally obtained during the Freaky Forester random event. Originally, killing a pheasant would drop two different versions of the meat, depending on whether the correct type of pheasant had been killed. Only taking the correct version would give the player a reward.

In 2013 the event was reworked; pheasants now only drop one type of meat.
