Art Critic Jacques, or from his Examine option, Jacques Netis, is an art critic in the process of evaluating the collection of the Varrock Museum.

Jacques can be found on the 2^nd floor^[UK]3^rd floor^[US] next to a painting of King Lathas, which is the only piece on display until the player helps museum staff clean finds from the Digsite.

His dialogue is written to phonetically convey a stereotypical French accent of the English language. He also, when asked, recites to the player a small excerpt from Charles Baudelaire's sonnet La Beauté in the original French, part of the book Les Fleurs du mal. When asked about its meaning, he provides an English rendition of the lines drawn from F.P. Sturm's 1906 translation.
