Nitrous oxide is a quest item used only in Recruitment Drive. It is found in a bookcase in Miss Cheevers's trial.
It serves no purpose in the quest. The player laughs when the vial is opened or attempted to combine with any other chemical.
After leaving the room, all copies in the inventory are deleted.
Trivia
- Nitrous oxide, also known as "laughing gas" due to the euphoric effects when inhaling it, is commonly used as a painkiller.
- This is the only interactable item in the game, that has a vessel which contains a gaseous substance.
