Advanced data
NPC ID3580

Lazim is a mysterious character in the southern Kharidian Desert near the Quarry, and starts the quest Enakhra's Lament here, whilst posing as a desert sculptor. Though he is openly a mage and follower of the god Zamorak, his true intentions are not revealed until the end of the quest. He is particularly impatient and sarcastic, often making snide remarks at the expense of player's intelligence.

During the quest itself, Lazim attempts to trick the player into thinking he wishes to build a statue commemorating someone or something and, despite the notion that the middle of a desert is an odd place to build a statue, the player must oblige. It is then discovered that the statue was just a ploy, and Lazim was actually attempting to unearth a temple dedicated to the Zamorak-aligned Mahjarrat Enakhra in order to learn first hand from such an early follower of the chaos god. While the player goes through a series of puzzles, Lazim waits patiently, letting the unwitting hero find her and release her from her prison. However, Enakhra and Akthanakos, another Mahjarrat, aligned with Zaros and in battle with Enakhra, are both released and flee to The North, thus depriving Lazim from studying the two Mahjarrat, to his great anger. He decides to remain in the temple to study it and refuses to teach the player any spells.

Camulet

After the quest, Lazim can be found in the top floor of Enakhra's Temple, and you can get another Camulet from him if you lose yours. If the Camulet is brought to him, he will offer to give it unlimited charges for 1,000,000 coins. This is a one-time fee. He says he requires so much money because 1) he is a Zamorakian, who don't do charity; 2) he wants the money; and 3) he hates you.

To get to Lazim after completing the quest, teleport to him with the camulet. Alternatively, follow these steps:

  1. Enter the temple by way of a Secret entrance.
  2. Climb down the ladder.
  3. Enter the middle room of the temple, with the correct door depending on how you completed the quest.
  4. Once in the middle room, climb up the ladder.
  5. Go north past the magic barrier and then climb up the ladder to Lazim.
