The Hourglass is a quest item used only in Recruitment Drive. It is found on the table in Sir Tinley's trial.
It serves no purpose in the quest. It can be taken before talking to Sir Tinley and after completing the patience test.
Duplicates can be drop tricked to obtain another. After leaving the room, all copies in the inventory are deleted.
