Hieve is located in the south-western area of the Brimhaven Dungeon, accessed via the west side of the main metal dragon area. If players attempt to attack the metal dragons in this area, he will stop them from doing so, claiming the upper area is only for those who have metal dragons as a Slayer task.

He is the elder cousin of Nieve, and the elder brother of Steve and Pieve. He wields a poisoned rune hasta, an anti-dragon shield, white headband, brown villager sandals, and red pirate leggings.
