The Desert Phoenix is a bird that can be found wandering north-west of the Ruins of Uzer in the northern Kharidian Desert, just south of the clay mines.

During The Golem quest, players must steal one of its feathers and use it with black dye to create a phoenix quill pen. Doing so requires level 25 in Thieving; boosts can be used.

• The Phoenix pet's in-game model is a miniature version of the Desert Phoenix's. The Desert Phoenix's in-game model is also very similar to the Entrana firebird's.
