The blank mind rune is a questitem used in The Slug Menace. It is made by right-clicking on Page 3 of Brother Maledict's holy book and choosing the "shape mind" option with a rune essence or pure essence in the inventory. During this process the player must also make a blank air rune, a blank earth rune, a blank fire rune, and a blank water rune using page 1 and page 2. The player needs a chisel in their inventory to make these runes.
It is recommended that players make more than one blank because players can fail while chiselling the shape of the rune, as well as when binding it with the element of the rune.
When used on a Mind Altar in the usual way it turns into a special mind rune which is needed later in the quest. This item is lost upon death with all the others blank runes aswell.
