Cooked turkey was obtained by during the 2013 Thanksgiving event by speaking to the gnome Chef. Players could only possess two cooked turkeys per inventory. They couldn't be banked, when attempting them a message would appear in the game chat saying A magical force prevents you from banking this item! Consuming them heals two hitpoints and you receive the message It heals some health, for which you feel thankful. in the game chat.

The chef discarded some of these because they weren't cooked correctly, and players are able to kick those around. These could be kicked anywhere, even up White wolf mountain and across the water onto the water obelisk island. They would despawn after a short while if left alone away from the beach.

After the item's removal on 5 December 2013, it was replaced by a rancid turkey in the game cache.
