Walkthrough
Talk to the Easter Bunny outside the Grand Exchange. He will tell you that most of the easter eggs have gone missing, and that he's run out of time to make more. He will ask you to talk to the people nearby if they saw what happened to his eggs; talk to either the protester, upset easter egg hunter, or the disappointed family. After finishing the conversation with one of them (random for each player), a shifty looking priest holding a giant easter egg will appear near the Easter Bunny; talk to them, only for them to teleport away.
Head a bit east and talk to Eggus manus, who will ask that you come see the church of Ayaster. Accept the teleport, and you'll find yourself in the church on a remote island with lots of stolen eggs. Talk to all the Egg priests, who all appear crazy, but not particularly malicious. Return to Eggus manus, who will give you the Yolklore of ayaster to learn about their religion. Upon reading it, it becomes clear that "Ayaster" is really just a misunderstanding of Easter.
Talk to Eggus again to explain the truth. To prove it, you take him and his priests to the Easter Bunny's workshop. After seeing the Easter Bunny himself, he will realise that he was wrong and help save easter. You must now help the egg priests mine the easter egg rocks; if you don't have a pickaxe, there are bronze ones at the tables to the south.
Throughout the mining area, you will find five egg priests mining the rocks, alongside an empty easter mine cart, which are immobile and situated at the end of the tracks. Each cart requires three eggs to fill, for a total of 15 needed. Along the tracks, there will be misbehaving mine carts that move and run into the player, stunning them for a brief time. There is a small chance that an egg will be destroyed when this happens; simply mine another one if it does.
-
The church of Ayaster, where all the stolen eggs have been taken.
-
The egg priests discover the truth.
-
Mining for easter eggs in the workshop.
After filling all the mining carts, you will be prompted to return to the Easter Bunny. Talk to him, and Eggus will ask that you return to the church to discuss something. He will tell you that the eggs have begun walking on their own, and asks that you investigate the crypt beneath their church.
The crypt staircase to the south will now be usable. Talk to Eg downstairs, who will give you an eggnappin' sack, tinderbox, and spade to capture the animated eggs. There are nine eggs in total:
- One is hidden in the south-east room, who appears after digging on the pile of chocolate.
- Another is trapped between fences in the main room. Use the tinderbox on the unlit brazier north of it to make it catchable.
- The remaining 7 are wandering around the crypt.
After catching all the eggs, talk to Eg, and then Eggus upstairs, to complete the event.
Rewards
After completing this event players will receive:
- Book of egg
- Egg priest vestments
- Egg priest necklace
- Two noted Easter eggs
- All other Easter rewards from previous years, which can also be (re)obtained from Diango.

Trivia
- The examine text of the Rascally child is "These children are getting out of hand, now there are six of them" is a reference to a line from the film Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace.
- The dialogue between Eggus Manus and the Easter Bunny of "Take off that stupid rabbit suit!" "Only after you take off that stupid man suit!" is a reference to the film Donnie Darko.
- Eggus Manus and the "eggway" are references to the Primarch Ferrus Manus and the Webway of Warhammer 40k lore.
- When talking to the Easter Bunny after the event is completed, your character will say the Easter Bunny owes them 1,006 eggs before saying their notes are upside down and it is actually over 9,000 eggs. This is a reference to Dragon Ball Z, possibly DBZA specifically.
- The dialogue with Eg when the player asks "One: where's the sack? Two: give me the sack." is a reference to the season 7 episode of The Simpsons Lisa the Iconoclast in which Homer questions the museum curator on the location of the fife.
- The dialogue with the Easter Bunny where he exclaims "WHY YOU LITTLE..." could also be a reference to The Simpsons, the catchphrase commonly used by Homer when enraged by Bart.
