The following text is transcluded from Transcript:Yolklore of ayaster.

Once in the days long gone, thine eggy lore was written into this book with ink and quill.

There seem to be many alternative forewards written, and blotted out, then written again in different handwriting.

In the beginning he who was long of ear did go forth across the lands hoping.

To bring the egg of Ayaster to the people, so at its meggnificent hue they could marvel.

For many generations it was thus. The people, one spring morn, waited for the herald of Ayaster.

Three days and three nights eager people stood vigil, with each their number dwindling, until only the true faithful remained.

The true church of Ayaster on this night began, each member adorned themselves with lapin long ears and prayed for the return of hoping.

But all that year, and the next they waited in vain.

Content not to sit idle the faithful did travel from their homes, on great pilgrimage.

From amongst them the writer of the Yolklore rose, and within these pages chronicled, their journey to Ayaster's shell.

Many illegible stained pages are stuck together here...

In holy shell the faithful ensconced, shall await the time of hatching where true faith's reward awaits.

By divine signs shall the hour be heralded, in basket carried, by him long of ear and valiantly hoping.

Then shall be revealed to them the great winged Eckbert who does rest high upon the boughs.

Upon winged back the faithful shall rise then into a new world, where they shall hunt gaily.

In this promised time his glorious bounty, shall fall once more with majesty, Ayaster's great eggs of unfathomable colour.
