Money making guide/Killing Blood Moon
Lua error in ...ribunto/includes/Engines/LuaCommon/lualib/mwInit.lua at line 23: bad argument #1 to 'old_ipairs' (table expected, got nil). This money-making guide is an alternative to completing all 3 Moons of Peril, having lower concentration required and no weapon switches needed (Special Attack Weapon excluded). Due to the Blood Moon's unique combat mechanics, players with lower combat skills (i.e. under 80s for Attack, Strength and Defence) may find completing only the Blood Moon to be less profitable than completing all three moons. The profit rate assumes you are averaging Blood Moon kills per hour. This calculator's default estimate of 19 kills per hour assumes the player is using relatively strong equipment and high combat stats. Your actual profits will likely vary depending on your speed and luck. The default kph assumes non-degradable, strong slash weapons such as a Noxious Halberd, Abyssal Whip, or Blade of Saeldor. Mid game accounts should expect to see lower kills per hour, while max accounts with access to max melee and a Scythe of vitur can see higher kills per hour, however there is additional cost and upkeep to using this weapon for an extended period of time. Prayer experience is gained assuming the player uses gained Blessed bone shards and Sun-kissed bones with regular Jugs of blessed wine for experience at the Libation bowl.
Strategy
Recommended path is as follows:
- Starting from the Lunar Chest after the first Blood Moon kill, return through the south door to the Ancient Prison.
- Run north to the cooking stove and restore run energy.
- Run east to the Blood Moon chamber and fight the boss. After defeating the boss, the player will be placed at the cooking stove in the Earthbound Cavern.
- Stock up on food and potions if needed, then run south east through the cave entrance into the Streambound Cavern.
- Run directly south to the Lunar Chest room and claim your reward.
