The old symbol is obtained from the Varrock Museum activity by cleaning uncleaned finds. Players can return it to display case 36 (ground floor^[UK]1^st floor^[US], southern-most row, second from the east. Display is directly west of the Ancient Talisman display.) to be rewarded with 10 kudos. The symbol cannot be strung with a ball of wool, and it has no other use.

Turning in the symbol causes all copies to be removed from the player's inventory and bank, as well as the symbol no longer appearing when cleaning uncleaned finds. In order to keep a copy, the drop trick must be used.

Thought to be an altar decoration, possibly celebrating the beginning of the 4th Age when Saranthium was at its most vibrant. Lovingly crafted in silver and sapphire, it is still in good condition.
