• Reginald is a reference to the Red Guy from the British web series Don't Hug Me I'm Scared. This is reinforced by the fact that Roy jr. refers to him as Red. Furthermore, a drake duck sits near him and Roy to complete the trio featured in the series.
• His second dialogue is a reference to the first theme song of the Pokémon anime series.
• His third dialogue is a reference to a scene in the 2007 film Rush Hour 3, in which one of the protagonists become confused over the name of the Asian man he is confronting.
