Farming requires 10 Sage's Renown to unlock. The skill is most useful as a source of herbs and secondary ingredients for Herblore.

Skill synergies

• Thieving can be utilised to pickpocket Master Farmers for a source of seeds.
• Herblore benefits due to herb farming.
• Cooking together with Farming can be used to create the tuna potato; among the best food in the game.
• Farming mahogany trees on Fossil Island can be among the best places to cut Teak or Mahogany trees for Woodcutting and Construction training.
